“Are you sure about this” I asked my Dad. “It'll be fun” my Dad replied. As it turns out, it was fun 50% fun and 50% fun.We were on our way to go tubing in Clear Creek in Golden. I was pretty worried as my Dad stuck our tubes in the water. We saw roaring rapids crashing against the large round rocks. I reluctently, rode down the river. At first it was so quiet you could here a pin drop. But as I aproached the waterfall of a three foot drop,The water kept crashing against my face like it was angry at me. Whoosh!Whoosh! It almost knocked me off my tube! Finally I was a little bit away,and all you needed was pelicans to make it sound like the ocean. I was at the drop. My tube jerked right and hit a huge red boulder flanking the waterfall. My Dad said “Keep it under control!” it was hard to. I went down the fall and raised my arms in triumph. Big mistake. I had no control of it and flipped over in to the water. The water was cold and like 6' 4''.The waterfall was nearly over as I fell down it.But I was thrown around in the deep water by the crashing waves.I was pretty scared at that moment, considering the water ahead was way deeper. I felt around, all that was there were rocks. I felt up and felt the tube. I pulled my self up on to the tube to discover it was just in time. I was approaching the shore. My dad was waiting for me on the shore. He helped me up “Whoohoooooooo!” I said weakly. I was pretty relieved to be on shore after that.A big towel was wrapped around me. “let's do it again” I said enthusiasticly and eager for adventure. My dad nodded. We walked down the path of crushed red rocks passing bronze statues on the streets of Golden,Walking to do I again. I was still wet and soaking the path massively. We passed the bridge and put our tubes in the water. "are you ready?" my dad asked "Yes."I jumped as we did it again.
